 Vibrancy and wisdom

 vibrancy, wisdom, and beauty

So often, portrait photography focuses on younger life stages, from babies to graduations to weddings. But our older years bring a different kind of vibrancy, wisdom, and beauty.

a memorable experience

Imagine offering a special experience to your residents or community members, one that gives them a chance to shine in front of the camera, on their own or with a loved one.

My dream is to provide a memorable experience for elders to look forward to and enjoy. It can be a special chance to dress up and play! I encourage everyone to be themselves in front of the camera – no forced smiles or poses, just a chance to relax, have fun, and celebrate their own unique personality.

“Isabella is my friend and ally in depicting aging with poetry and power. What a joy it is creating with you! Your eye, your ease, your professionalism, your heart of caring, and soul of fun! Brilliant fun! Total epic trust! You see me through your process of conversation and lens! Do not wait for a "special occasion" to be seen and to capture yourself; Life is too short. Value yourself. And turn yourself over to this experience that is far more than photography - a delicious cocktail that feels like therapy and a fun time out.” - Mary Beth Ogulewicz

timeless feel

The photos will be taken on a simple black backdrop, where the results have a genuine and timeless feel. Each participant will receive 6-10 photos in both color and black and white to cherish and share with friends and family.

There is no cost to the facility. Each participant purchases their own photos.

“What a delight to work with you Isabella. I felt that I was in the hands of a master artist. You have such warmth and grace pouring out of you, allowing me to be at ease and have fun. What a gift you offer the world. Thank you, so much!” - Greg

 How it works

Sessions are short and sweet, 10-20 minutes is all we need and take place indoors at your facility against a black backdrop.

Before the session

  • We’ll choose a date and time of day for the event.

  • Residents or their families will select their 10 minutes time in front of the camera.

  • I will come in prior to picture day to choose a location that works best for you and for my setup.

  • I will provide you with promotional materials.

  • We will work together to create a signup form.

  • I will send you an email message you can use to invite your residents and their families to participate.

  • I will provide you with information to help your residents prepare for their session, including tips on what to wear and what to expect.

  • I provide all equipment needed for picture day.

After the session

  • Once the photos are edited and ready, each resident will have the opportunity to view their photos in an online gallery.

  • Each resident’s gallery will be set up under their name and can be shared with family and friends.

  • Each gallery will contain 6 to 10 fully edited images in both color and black and white.

  • Friends and families may order from the gallery as well. Residents and their loved ones can select print photos, digital downloads, or canvas wrapped prints. The gallery will include clear instructions on how to order.

  • Print photos and canvas orders will be mailed from the photo lab directly to the resident or family member.

It will be my pleasure to handle all questions that the families may have  during this process.

“These are so fun! Thank you so much for these lovely portraits, Isabella! Emily and I just looked at them together and relived the joy of that day. You definitely pulled something new and different out of us for these images, something that has continued since that day! It might sound silly, but I think that you removed a generation of hesitation, reluctance to show feelings. For that I will be eternally grateful.” - Wendy
