I met Alia, age 82, at the time when the sale of her house in Belchertown, Massachusetts was pending. She was planning to live full time on the road in her RV, traveling and reconnecting with friends and family members all over the United States. Downsizing and not having to take care of a big house would make it easier to live on her small pension while enabling her to visit loved ones around the country.
