PERSONAL BRANDING portraits

Whether you are a small business owner, entrepreneur, artist, or political candidate, photos that truly show your unique personality and style are so important to creating a brand, getting clients and growing your business, enhancing your social media presence, and/or running a strong campaign. No matter which of these is your specific goal, our session will include a mix of headshot-style photos and environmental portraits. You’ll come away with visually stunning new content, be it for social media, blogs, printed materials, public relations outreach, brochures, websites, press releases, or other promotional materials.

For the most dramatic light, sessions are schedule before sunset.

“Isabella offers exactly the combination that those of us who are NOT professional models want from a photo shoot: she makes the experience comfortable and fun while simultaneously taking care to ensure a first-rate result. I needed photos for a book cover and other professional uses, and Isabella knew how to produce photos that fit that need while also capturing something personal and recognizable to my friends and family. Her photos managed to make me look like my best self. I recommend her highly.” - Susannah

  • I am so happy you are here!

Thank you so much for your interest in working with me! I am looking forward to learning more about you.

Choosing a photographer is extremely personal, depending on what kind of experience and style of photographs you’re seeking. If you are looking for photos that are organic, full of movement, and spontaneous moments, let’s talk. Please take some time to read through the materials. That will give you a good sense of what to expect. That way, you can make a fully informed choice that you feel great about.

I am also more than happy to talk on the phone if you prefer or if you have any questions.

    PERSONAL BRANDING

Whether you are a small business owner, entrepreneur, artist, or political candidate, photos that truly show your unique personality and style are so important to creating a brand, getting clients and growing your business, enhancing your social media presence, and/or running a strong campaign. No matter which of these is your specific goal, our session will include a mix of headshot-style photos and environmental portraits. You’ll come away with visually stunning new content, be it for social media, blogs, printed materials, public relations outreach, brochures, websites, press releases, or other promotional materials.

From the moment you book your session, our focus will be completely on your goals for our time together. I’ll ask you questions about the purpose of the session and the overall feel you’re seeking.

No matter the purpose of a session, I love the chance to tell a meaningful story.

    THE SESSION

My approach to personal branding portraits is simple, warm and down-to-earth. You can expect a much more relaxed experience, ideally at a beautiful location outdoors in the late afternoon. I’ll take photos when you are walking, standing, or sitting while enjoying the environment, with the goal of capturing you in as genuine a way as possible. I guide you through the whole session with prompts and ideas.

Expect a relaxed mood where you can be yourself, more like we’re hanging out than a formal portrait set-up.

Location: I have many locations that I love to work at regularly, but I am always open to new places, as well, in case you have a favorite spot. The goal is to choose a spot that fits your style and personality, and I am happy to help you think through this decision. Studio sessions are an option as well.

Time: The images you see on my website look the way they do largely because of my use of light, so the time of day your session takes place is really important. I find that the hour or so before sunset typically provides gorgeous light and atmosphere. If we work indoors, the morning light is usually the best.

Length of session: Personal branding sessions can be one hour, or two or three…or as many as you need.

What to wear: Wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are. After you book, I will send some tips and I will be more than happy to help and talk on the phone.
